Can Tara write anything that sucks?
This one caught me by surprise, that’s for sure. I was totally ready for the suspense, I was not ready for the emotional roller coaster that accompanied said suspense. Tara will break your heart so hard in this book.
I’m having trouble even expressing the way I feel about this book. It’s a strange type of euphoria. There were many times I was terrified during this book, I mean things have to work out the way I want them too, right? RIGHT?
Sweet baby Jesus. I can’t tell you whether or not things work out the way I hoped. But I can tell you, that you absolutely need to read this series. I recommend reading them in order, because there are semi-large spoilers if done any other way. But I promise it’s worth it.

I loved this book...but I love every single book the T.E. Sivec (Tara Sivec) writes so it didn't surprise me that I loved it. I'm sad this is the last one...I want more! Cole & Olivia's story is heartbreaking, but I loved how the author brought them back together, and the way she writes the dynamics between all of the characters is simply awesome. I always know a good series when I spend time re-reading the books...and I've read and re-read the Playing With Fire series several times...I suggest you buy all 4 in the series and just have a reading marathon! You will love this series!
Wow! This had me reading on the edge!! I love a good mysterious love story. Could not believe how insane the female characters were in this book!! Cole was sexy, Cole was hot but I did not like him much when he called Liv out her name for believing some ish his mom told him rather than allowing Liv to explain first. But that was ok because my girl Parker was right there to slap him 50 shades of pink.-) Overall, still a great read and I loved the update on the characters from the previous books! This series was one of my all time favorites and I would recommend all 4 books!!
This one is really good Cole sure does tug at my heartstrings and make me want one of my own. Olivia never stood a chance at not falling madly bone deep soul piercing in love with him. The both come from messed up upbringings on both sides of the scale, so trying to trust and have healthy relationship is hard enough. Then add Cole walking away from it all to be part on a secret mission with no real confirmation that he will return, does nothing but shatter Olivia and leave her in mourning. When he comes back home a year later so much damage has been done there is no way Olivia will ever be able to forgive him or see a future.
Cole has fought in wars. He has lost dear friends. He has been physically injured in battle. None of these things compare to the guilt induced pain he feels for leaving the love of his life behind to complete a very personal Navy Seal mission. Has he lost her forever. Can he ever forgive himself? Will she ever forgive him ?

Olivia thought she had it all . Her perfect job , great friends and a home with the love of her life. When life falls apart on her, can she be strong enough to pull through? Will she survive her pain?

Circumstances bring Cole and Olivia back together as patient and physical therapist and they both know that love lies behind the walls she erected to protect herself from the kind of pain he and his family had inflicted on her.

They have found each other again, but will all the secrets and lies surrounding them be too much for their fragile relationship to handle? Can this tough as nails Navy Seal and this strong, independent care giver ever live behind their cheerful yellow door again?

As usual for a Tara Sivec book, the romance is steamy and the drama is intense. There are unexpected twists and some sadder than sad emotional moments. They have crazy family issues and mother's who can't seem to get it right. In the end, it is well worth reading and sorry to say the last one in this series of strong characters that we get to see all together again in a sweet epilogue. Thank you Tara Sivec for another great read
Cole finds himself fighting to get Olivia to let him back into her life. After returning from his mission wounded, he finds himself with Olivia unexpectedly showing back up in his life, prior to his being ready for her return. Olivia has struggled in the year since she saw Cole and fights to regain her life and move on from him. After she sees Cole, all of her hurt and anger come pouring out. After Cole finds out how much she struggled without him he feels immense guilt. Cole's mother sets up Olivia yet again and she finds herself caught up in his family's secrets and lies. Cole learns some startling truths and struggles to come to grips with all of the lies his parents have told him and the cover-ups they orchestrated to keep their secret from coming to light. Overall a good read and a plot good enough to keep turning the pages. Nice to see the epilogue includes updates on all of the other couples in the series as well.
I was worried there for a second that I wouldn't get my HEA! But she pulled it out in the end and I couldn't be happier with the way she did!

This is the first book in sometime that actually brought tears to my eyes...the descriptive way she played out Olivia's hospital memory...OMH...I felt her pain and hurt for her as if she were my own. Very well written.

And, although it concerned me that I may not get my HEA I understood and appreciated the road both Olivia and Cole had to take to come back to each other...sniff sniff...more welling up over here...

Awesome series...yummy men...and some if the strongest h's I've had the privilege to read! I can't believe it took this long for me to read Ms Sivec's other books...I LOVED Seduction and Snacks and laughed so hard I thought I'd wet myself but I had no idea she could also do the drama and suspense found in this series. I ABSOLUTELY will read more from this author!
