Shane is a sexy young twenty-something whose life revolves around the gym, work and caring for his Mom. His sexuality is a burden he simply does not want to deal with.
When he asks a handsome rugged hunk called Nathan to spot him one day while working out, he is forced to deal with those hidden primitive desires.
Of course like most thing's in Shane's life, the situation is complex with his new found love interest due to be married soon. With time ticking by to Nathans wedding day together they must decide is this simply lust or love?
“They sat shoulder to shoulder, bulging biceps pressed against one another, masculine scents sending both into an equal state of arousal”
“In that moment reality, restraint and remorse left them, allowing their primal desires to take over.”

This short story, for me, has checked all the right boxes. The two main characters are body builders. Often this scenario leads to some totally unbelievable plot line, like one of them is a secret billionaire hiding his wealth so he can find a genuine sincere Mr. Right. But no, these are actually just two ordinary guys sharing an interest in body building with real jobs in the real work a day world. Both individuals have real human problems. The dialog has a real feel to it. There are no fantasy island plot lines either. The main drama in the story is not even the growing attraction between the protagonists. It is a bigger than life event of a health crisis with one of the characters mother. Sorting out ones love life is important but is not the end all and be all in life. Finally, the consummation scenes are not so overly descriptive that one feels they have been through an anatomy course. It is graphic without the use of the usual descriptors, seen so often that they have become hackneyed and trite.
I look forward to seeing what author S. Smith comes up with in the future as he or she (one never knows) advances on to longer length novels with more complex plots. Hopefully, author Smith will comes up with more complex and original literary imagery.
After writing the above review, I went to the author page to see if I could confirm my suspicion whether the author is British or at least British schooled. To my delight I find the author actually intended the stories to have a common man focus. The author says, “My LGBT books are based on real life situations and events which a lot of people can relate to.”
Bravo I say! Keep up the good work your audience is out here.

Spot me Bro? An LGBT Romance S Smith Books Reviews
Little bit the norm
This book is ridiculous. The writing seems like that of a fifth grader. The story line makes no sense. Can't believe I wasted an hour reading this book, hoping it would get better. It doesn't.
